Hey we got three weeks out of this place - more than we expected - and it's been lovely. But now we've got a definite bailiff appointment so it's time to move on.
On the day anyone's welcome to pop round at about 11am for tea and biscuits. No angry shouty people though please. We are absolutely clear we want this to be a friendly hand-over of the property back to the owners.
Meanwhile we're all plunged back into the crazy world of heading off on missions in the early hours of the morning. Last night JD climbed up onto a warehouse roof leaving me and D. on the ground, watching as his silhouette went up the boundary wall, along a lean-to, up onto the roof and disappeared.
We waited. Waited. Waited. There were occasional mild bangs, bumps and ripping noises. More waiting. More steady noises. More waiting. We were getting seriously worried JD might have got stuck or something. Eventually the silhouette re-appeared and gingerly returned to earth. It turned out he's got trapped at the bottom of the roof slope because it was so slippery - he just slid back to the bottom every time he tried to climb back up. Eventually he made it sliding on his bum through the slime.
After a few days of this I'll be all over the place so the next few days' posts might be a bit strange.
